Company and individual recognitions celebrate excellence in customer service, quality, safety and revenue.
(Coppell, Texas – March 15, 2023) – Daryl Flood was recently honored with awards in eight different categories celebrating company and individual accomplishments at the UniGroup Learning Conference, held February 23-26 in St. Louis, Missouri. UniGroup is the parent company of United Van Lines, Mayflower Transit, UniGroup Worldwide and several other transportation brands.
Daryl Flood is an agent for Mayflower, and received the following accolades at the company-wide, national level:
President’s Quality Award
For the third time in the company’s history, Daryl Flood earned the prestigious Mayflower President’s Quality Award. In the words of UniGroup, this award “recognizes the best of the best.” All U.S. agents that are part of the UniGroup network are eligible, and the award is given to the top agency in each van line within the network for consistently demonstrating and sustaining high quality overall ratings, as determined by direct customer feedback and survey scores.
In addition to the President’s Quality Award for overall excellence, Daryl Flood was also recognized at the agency level for dedication to quality performance in the areas of claims, safety, revenue distribution, billing systems and labor. Awards are based on customer survey results and van line star ratings and honorees are selected by size category, based on total number of household goods shipments registered annually. Daryl Flood was a top Mayflower agent in the 500+ shipments group, the largest volume category among the Customer Excellence Award groupings.
Million Dollar Club, Admiral’s Club and Hauling Awards
The Daryl Flood team was also celebrated for excellence in three additional categories reflecting outstanding achievements in revenue earnings and volume of moves: The Mayflower Million Dollar Club Award ($12 million category) for overall annual linehaul revenue, a Mayflower Admiral’s Club Award for being among the top-volume bookers within the Household Goods business segment under the National Accounts category and the number-one of the top three Mayflower Agents producing the greatest hauling revenue within the Household Goods category.
At the individual level, three Daryl Flood team members were honored with top recognitions for their outstanding customer service, safety ratings or overall performance in their respective roles, including:
Troy Box: Mayflower Van Operator of the Year
Troy Box received the highly coveted Van Operator of the Year Award within the Mayflower Household Goods West regional category. There are more than 1,300 driving professionals in the Mayflower network, and Box was one of the three winners this year. This award was established in recognition of the fact that van operators truly make the difference between a good move and a great one, and Troy’s professionalism, attention to detail and ability to put his customers at ease throughout their moves make him one of the company’s most frequently requested drivers.
Since joining Daryl Flood in 2006, Troy has received numerous awards and recognitions, including being a seven-time honoree of the Daryl Flood 5-Star Safety Driver Award, and twice named Daryl Flood Long Haul Driver of the Year (2009 and 2021), and Mayflower Van Operator of the Month (February 2021 and June 2022). He is a number-one rated driver with a perfect Safety Performance Rating (SRR). Hear more about Troy’s story.
Caroline Ziegmann: Mayflower Heart of Quality Award Winner
Daryl Flood Relocation Coordinator, Caroline Ziegmann, was honored with the Mayflower Heart of Quality Award in the 500+ shipment category. UniGroup established the annual Heart of Quality Award in 2005 to recognize the often “unsung heroes” behind every successful move: the coordinators who provide customers with exceptional service, as evidenced by high satisfaction scores.
Caroline joined Daryl Flood in May 2022, right at the cusp of the industry’s traditionally busiest season. As a newcomer to the moving business, she demonstrated an early appetite for learning and serving, including attending an on-site visit for greater, first-hand insights into the customer experience and overall team and company operations.
Jason Staton: UniGroup Masters Club Inner Circle Inductee
Jason Staton, a regional sales executive with Daryl Flood, earned second place in revenue generation within the Residential Household Goods category, earning him entry into the prestigious Masters Club Inner Circle. This group was established by UniGroup to recognize United and Mayflower agency representatives for outstanding sales performance.
“Since its inception, the Daryl Flood name has been synonymous with quality and dependability – a reputation clearly validated by the outstanding customer satisfaction, quality service and safety scores that these awards reflect,” noted Walter D. Myers, Senior Vice President, Moving and Storage with Suddath, the parent company of Daryl Flood. “It’s both humbling and gratifying to see that hard-earned reputation celebrated within so many company and individual team member categories. We’re very proud of the collaboration across the entire team, with each member working to fulfill our mission to serve our customers, communities and each other with the highest level of care, making lives easier by delivering in moments that matter.”
