Daryl Flood Raises Funds to Fight Cancer

(DALLAS, TEXAS – November 11, 2019) During the month of October, the Daryl Flood, Inc. team raised $2,000 to donate to Stand Up To Cancer.

Doubling last year’s donations, employees and contractors purchased company-branded “Fight Against Cancer” t-shirts and hats to wear at the office and in customers’ homes, and made donations.

“I am so excited this year we decided to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer,” said Social Media & Event Marketing Specialist Samantha Starnes. “The organization looks at the big picture of cancer and how to end it. In partnering with them, I feel we have raised money to help end all cancers.”

According to the organization’s website, today alone, 4,828 people in the United States will be diagnosed with cancer. Stand Up To Cancer works relentlessly to offer the newest, most effective and most promising cancer treatments to patients quickly by bringing together the best minds to collaborate, innovate and share cancer research.

Stand Up To Cancer enables scientific breakthroughs by funding collaborative, multidisciplinary and multi-institutional scientific cancer research teams and investigators. Progress against one type of cancer is progress against ALL cancer.
